Kartzilla OTA Partner Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the cooperation between Kartzilla Discovery Japan – Kartzilla Go Kart Activity (“Kartzilla”, “we”, “our”) and the OTA Partner (“Partner”, “you”). By registering or using your Partner Code, you agree to the following:


1. Partner Registration & Eligibility

1.1 Partner must provide accurate business information.
1.2 Partner accounts must be approved by Kartzilla.
1.3 Partner must use the assigned Partner Code for all bookings.


2. Booking & Partner Code Requirements

2.1 All bookings must use the Partner’s assigned tracking link or Partner Code.
2.2 Bookings made without the Partner Code do not earn commission.
2.3 Partner must submit accurate customer information.


3. License Requirements (Mandatory)

3.1 Customers must present one of the following:

  • A valid International Driving Permit (IDP) under the 1949 Geneva Convention; OR
  • A valid home-country driving license with a Japanese translation (JAF Translation) for Monaco, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, France, and Taiwan.

3.2 Kartzilla may help arrange JAF Translation if the request is made at least one month prior to the tour.

3.3 Customers must bring original physical documents:

  • Original driving license
  • Original IDP or JAF translation
  • Passport

Digital copies are not accepted under Japanese law.

3.4 Failure to present required documents results in refusal of participation.

3.5 Such cases are considered no-shows and no refund will be issued.


4. Arrival, Late Arrival & No-Show Policy

4.1 Customers must arrive at the Kartzilla facility at least 40 minutes before tour start for checks and briefing.

4.2 Customers arriving late will be refused participation.

4.3 Late arrivals are treated as no-shows and no refund will be given.

4.4 Partner earns commission on no-shows because the booking is considered completed.


5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the tour.
5.2 Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
5.3 No-shows (including invalid license or late arrival) are non-refundable.
5.4 If Kartzilla cancels due to weather or safety, customers may rebook or receive a refund.


6. Commission & Payments

6.1 Commission applies only to completed tours booked with the Partner Code.
6.2 Standard commission: agreed percentage (e.g., 20%).
6.3 Commission is not paid on refunded bookings.
6.4 Payments are issued monthly.
6.5 Partner is responsible for providing accurate billing details.


7. Use of Marketing Materials

Partners may use Kartzilla-approved:

  • Photos
  • Videos
  • Logos
  • Tour descriptions

solely for promoting Kartzilla tours. Misuse or alteration is prohibited.


8. Partner Responsibilities

Partner must:

  • Communicate license requirements clearly.
  • Communicate arrival time requirements.
  • Share meeting point and safety rules.
  • Display accurate information in their listings.
  • Ensure customers are aware of no-refund policies for no-shows and invalid licenses.

8.6 Protection of Kartzilla Intellectual Property & Competitive Misuse

The Partner shall not use Kartzilla information, images, descriptions, or any marketing materials to promote other go-kart operators or competing businesses. Kartzilla reserves the right to immediately terminate the partnership if the Partner is found to be using Kartzilla’s content for competitor promotion, market diversion, or unauthorized advertising. Kartzilla may withhold unpaid commissions for fraudulent or misleading activities.


9. Misuse & Termination

Kartzilla may suspend or terminate Partner access for:

  • Fraudulent bookings
  • Misuse of Partner Code
  • Misrepresentation of Kartzilla services
  • Repeated customer complaints caused by Partner negligence
  • Violation of Japanese traffic law requirements
  • Use of Kartzilla content to redirect customers to competitors

Commission for completed tours before termination will still be honored unless fraudulent activity is involved.


10. Limitation of Liability

Kartzilla is not liable for:

  • Partner misinformation
  • Customer errors
  • Failure to comply with license requirements
  • Travel delays
  • Operational disruptions beyond control

Kartzilla’s liability is limited to the commission for the disputed booking.


11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes will be resolved by the Tokyo District Court.


12. Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a Partner or using your Partner Code, you agree to all terms above and confirm you understand all license, arrival, safety, cancellation, and no-show requirements.
